Spamming

Spam as a verb means the act of entering a command or set of commands repeatedly,
usually in order to benefit your character in some way. While spamming is
necessary in order to raise certain skills, do not do so in a public place that
will disrupt other players (ie recall, crecall, etc.)

Do not go afk and leave your character spamming. This will be considered botting
and subject to punishment (see help botting).

Spam as a noun refers to the messages that appear on your client while mudding.
When you spam skills or fight there will be corresponding messages to tell you
your progress. Also, when you are in a room with other people your activities
will appear as spam to them. MUD ettiquette is to minimize the amount of spam
you produce for other players while in public rooms
